Born in 1975, he began riding at the age of 8 at the Turin horse riding society. Today he works at his own stable in Villanova d’Asti. His exceptional equestrian skills in show jumping were evident from a young age; he has participated in 3 Junior European Championships and 2 Young Rider European Championships.

Since 1996, he has been a member of the Carabinieri Army. He has won around 50 Senior Nations Cups, making him a cornerstone of the Italian Team. He has competed in two Senior European Championships and one World Championship, always reaching the individual finals of international competitions. He has made it to the finals of the Nations Cup World Cup three times and was part of the team that qualified for the Olympics in Athens. Riding Lazzaro delle Schiave, an Italian horse he raised, he placed tenth overall in the 2019 Calgary Grand Prix, and finished with 0 penalties in the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, qualifying for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He is currently working with promising young riders who, thanks to his patience, will have the chance to grow towards a bright future.

Among his recent achievements, it is worth noting his 5th place in the 145 class at the 2023 Verona World Cup and a 2nd place in the 145 class at the CSI2* in Gorla Minore in late February 2024.
