Filippo Marco Bologni (1994), originally from Emilia Romagna, started competing at the age of 8, and at 12 he participated in his first European Championship (since then, he has been a member of the National Team every year). Among the most talented young promises in Italian show jumping, he boasts 17 victories in Youth Nations Cups with the Italian team, 2 medals at the European Championships, a bronze medal at the 2018 Mediterranean Games in Barcelona, 7 appearances at the CSIO Rome in Piazza di Siena, and 7 participations at the Longines FEI World Cup™ in Verona; he also won the Italian Young Riders Championship for 3 consecutive years (2013, 2014, and 2015) and a team gold medal at the CSIO5* in Gijon, Spain in 2019.
Son of the renowned Olympic rider Arnaldo, who is also his exceptional trainer (the father is a well-known Olympic rider – XXV: Barcelona, 1992 as a reserve; XXVI: Atlanta, 1996 as a first rider – with a palmares full of successes: among many, he won the Italian Grand Prix in Rome in 1994 riding May Day), Filippo rides with the uniform of the Carabinieri. Currently in his stable Quilazio, Diplomat and Quidich de la Chavee are his top competition horses.
